Hosted by Toronto's lovely Marcia Tulloch and Delroy Graham it was wonderful to hear testimony from survivors of Leukemia and other health affiliated entities that came out to teach the community about Leukemia which persists predominantly in the black communities.
The M.C. for the event was Durham Caribbean's Festival founder Mary Galvan who did a great job in engaging the audience.
Live performances from spoken word to the dazzling RnB Diva Alicia Cinnamon it was a spectacular event.
The music was brought to the massive by Dj Corey and Bagga Flexx who played from their heart help raise funds to combat Leukemia.
We learned about stem cell and how donating blood could help save lives.
Next year we are looking forward to being a part of the Gerdine Graham Foundations 4th Annual Leukemia Awareness Fundraising Event and welcome everyone to come out not just to drop a donation but also to learn how you can be someone to save a life.
