Dub School Jamaica Comes To Canada Launching July 4, 2018
Today is a special day for Jamaica's infamous Dub School and Island Beats is honored to be a part of the launching of Dub School in Montreal, Canada on June 27, 2018 at the Zaz Bar in Montreal.
Island Beats had an exclusive interview with Nova the founder of Dub School that started in Kingston 10 in Jamaica and today marks their 4th anniversary as per Nova Dub School's founder.
Island Beats asked Nova during our interview how he created the Dub School concept and he compared the Dub School concept to initiatives such as Youth Man Promotions how they used a particular sound that would feature artist on their sound and promote reggae artists by hosting weekly shows to create further awareness and also feature upcoming artists to give them a platform in the industry.

Nova explained that Dub School's main objective was to increase unification in the reggae music industry and to showcase upcoming artists and provide further promotion via the set, performances and social media as well.
Dub School provides artists with live experience education in reggae music through open mic, video recording that started off in Kingston, Jamaica and has extended to Mandeville, Jamaica, The Bahamas, Nairobi Kenya, and upcoming in Vermont USA.
Dub School is set and ready to make their mark in Montreal Canada and will be launching the live experience on July 4, 2018.
Head spearing the Dub School movement in Montreal, Canada is DJ Luna of RJR 94 FM and CHOQ Radio in Montreal who will be representing Dub School in Canada.
Onboard Dub School Canada is Yvonne Jacobs of Jamrock Records, Kelly Bonin from the One Love Music, Tico from Tico's Temple in Montreal who will be assisting to facilitate the weekly performances in Montreal at Zaz Bar with Selecta Satta from Satta Sounds.
Dub School's concept is based on a desire to unify the people through music and also be a platform at no cost for upcoming artists to be heard on an international scale.
Dub School has opened its doors to artists such as Jah 9, Protege's Lila Ike, Koffee, and more.......
Nova revealed that establishing Dub School on a world wide level is to also help reggae as an entity to to be main stream universally.
